"Adventures of Beekle the Unimaginary Friend" by Dan Santat
This was one of my most favorite books that I read!! The pictures were stunning. Truly stunning. This book was about finding your place in the world and having a friend to call your own. I loved it!!!
I would use this  book in my classroom to teach students about acceptance.

"The Grizzly Bear Who Lost his Grrrrr!" by Rob Biddulph
This  was a good little book about a grizzly bear that lost his sound but founds friends in the end.
I would use this book in the classroom to talk about sounds and hearing. I would encourage children to make their own animal and have them sound out the sound as well as write the sound (onomatopoeia).

"The Little Scarecrow Boy" by Margret Wise Brown
This was another great book by Margret Wise Brown about a little scarecrow that is brave. It is beautifully illustrated and super cute.
I would use this book in my classroom to talk about bravery.

"Explorers of the Wild" by Cale Atkinson

I thought this was a cool little book. It is about exploring and finding a friend.
I would use this book in my classroom to ask students what kinds of items might they find in a forest then have the students talk about times they have been exploring.

"The Incredible Book Eating Boy" by Oliver Jeffers
This little book was about a boy who literally ate books and thought he was going to be the smartest person on Earth but he ate so many books it made him sick. Then he began to just read then though at the end there was a bite mark from the last page so I guess he just could resist.
I would ask students to think about eh deeper mean about eating the book vs reading them. Was really missing out on learning?
